形态描述
体圆筒升腾，腹部平。头稍扁平。吻突出，两侧各有1明显的角质突。口下位，稍呈弧形。吻皮盖住上颌，边缘流苏状，布满小乳突。下唇宽阔，中间形成一前面和两侧隆起的马蹄形小吸盘。唇侧后缘薄片游离。须2对，吻须较长。下咽齿2行。鳞小。鳃孔上角有一黑点。
生物学
This species looks similar to Garra orientalis, but has its pharyngeal teeth in 2 rows. It is found in the Zhujiang River and inhabits the sand and gravel bottom of the mountain streams. A small fish, its body length is about 60-100 mm.
